Mission:NY

Maybe you are saying to yourself “What is Mission:NY and why should I go?” Well, Mission:NY is the first Underground Student Ministries mission’s trip! July 17th – 23rd we will be taking a total of 30 people to New York City. You may be thinking, “Why would we go to New York for a mission’s trip and not China, or Guam or something like that?” Well the answers are, 1. It is much cheaper to do a state side mission’s trip instead of somewhere out of the country. This allows me to keep the cost down for you. 2. It is much safer to do a state side mission’s trip instead of somewhere outside of the country. 3. There are plenty of people that need ministering to right here in the USA. We don’t always have to view missions as a ministry that can only take place outside of the US. I believe that we can make a tremendous difference in the lives of many people in the great city of New York.

We will be participating in many different forms of ministry in NY such as; Prayer booths, homeless shelter volunteering, youth church services and much more. Every one of the ministry activities we will be participating in is going to be great training for evangelism and outreach right back in our own home towns. I believe that the experience you will gain by taking this trip will equip you to better minister to your friends at school, your co-workers, your families and your entire community.

Not only will you have all the above opportunities for ministering, but also there will be many fun activities as well.
I am well aware of the fact that most of us will never have an opportunity to spend time in the great city of New York. So I am building into the trip itinerary plenty of fun activities for you to enjoy such as; a trip to the Empire State Building, Liberty Island, A Yankee Game, (I know were not Yankee fans but it’s a great experience to go to Yankee Stadium), Dinner at Dave and Busters right in Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and plenty of time to shop in Times Square and much more.

The cost for this trip is $850.00 all inclusive. Everything I have mentioned that we will be doing while on this trip is included in the $850.00. The only things you will be responsible for is; Food during travel, (at the airports), any and all souvenirs, food or novelty items at the Yankee game, (your ticket to the game is included in the $850.00)
